For several years, Station Mont Tremblant has been actively involved in its local community, collaborating with various partners and organizations in the region. Among them, the Centre d’entraide La Samaritaine plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families in need.

With the current economic climate, the number of households registered for food assistance has tripled over the past two years. In 2025, more than 250 households — representing over 600 people — rely on this service, with a notable increase among those in their thirties. Each week, between 50 and 80 food baskets are distributed thanks to the dedicated volunteers at La Samaritaine.

To help sustain this effort, Tremblant has set up six collection points to encourage employees to voluntarily donate non-perishable food items. Since November 2023, these donations have been collected monthly and delivered directly to La Samaritaine. In 2024 alone, Tremblant employees contributed over 620 lbs of food. We continue to encourage all team members to take part — every small donation makes a meaningful difference for those in need.

The collections take place at the beginning of each month. The date of the next collection is posted at each drop-off location, found in the main break rooms of the following buildings:

  • Base Télécabine
  • Chalet des Voyageurs
  • Golf Warehouse
  • L’Épicurien
  • The Inn
  • Maison Blanche

Beyond these regular collections, Tremblant also donates unused food from events to the local food bank. For instance, following the IRONMAN 51.50 and 70.3 events, the equivalent of over $4,700 in food items was donated.

No one should go without food, and every act of kindness counts. Let’s be caring, supportive, and united as one Tremblant family.
