For more than 20 years, Station Mont Tremblant has been committed to sustainable development, taking concrete action to protect its natural environment for the benefit of future generations.
A Structured and Recognized Commitment
In 2016, Tremblant established a sustainable development committee and jointly adopted its eco-responsibility charter along with its first strategic action plan. Driven by the goal of promoting, accelerating, and facilitating the integration of sustainable development principles into its business model, Tremblant joined the Sustainable Industries Council’s Écoresponsable Program. Audited by Ecocert Canada, Tremblant earned its first certification in 2017 to highlight this commitment and went on to achieve the program’s highest certification level in 2023.
2017: Level 1 – Commitment, highlighting its initial pledge and the implementation of concrete practices.
2019: Level 2 – Performance, recognizing the effectiveness of its actions, particularly in waste management.
2021: Level 3 – Optimum, acknowledging the station’s contribution to improving its sustainability performance.
2023: Level 4 – Elite, making Tremblant the first Quebec company to achieve the highest ÉCORESPONSABLE certification level, audited by Ecocert Canada.
A Future Focused on Continuous Improvement
Achieving Level 4 Elite recognizes the result of ongoing work in sustainable development. With this acknowledgment, Tremblant aims to continue its efforts and seeks greater support for implementing its action plan, whether through various grant programs or from stakeholders who are encouraged to actively support this approach by adopting new eco-responsible practices. In the face of the climate crisis, collaboration from all parties is essential to create a lasting collective impact for future generations.
