6 ways to beat the heat in Tremblant

  1. Go for a dip in the lake

The best and most obvious way to beat the heat in Tremblant is to enjoy a dip in Lake Tremblant’s cool waters. Head to the Parc Plage or Beach and Tennis beaches to go for a swim or build a sand-castle! For a splashing good time try out the one and only floating Iceberg at the Centre Nautique Pierre Plouffe, right by the Beach and tennis club.

  1. Seek shelter in the forest

Let the natural air-conditioning of the beautiful forest refresh your body and mind. In the shade of the trees, you can hike along marked wooded paths or ride around kilometers of groomed trails on your bike. Nested in the forest, you will also find Tremblant’s Aerial Adventures course, with its tree to tree zip lines and suspended bridges.

  1. Have a cool treat

Mmm… I don’t know about you, but when it gets hot I scream for ice-cream! A tasty, icy treat can be the perfect boost to keep you going during your activity-filled day. Especially when the sun is warm and shining! You can find yummy artisanal gelato, sorbets and soft ice-cream at Oh La Vache, with Moozoo offering different ice-cream choices and cool drinks and Fluide Juice Bar always there to whip up a nice, healthy, refreshing smoothie. For mapple flavored treats, don’t forget the Sugar Shack!

  1. Take a ride to the summit

In the shaded cover of the Panoramic Gondola, open the windows and feel the breeze flow as you climb to the top. Once there, although you’ll technically be closer to the sun, you’ll notice it’s always much cooler at the summit of the mountain! You can also fly down the mountain on the impressive Ziptrek Ecotour zip-lines.

  1. Enjoy some pool time

Just looking for a short swim break without the beach? Head to Aquaclub La Source for some pool time! Right in the center of the action, they have one of the biggest and best located pools in the pedestrian village. If you’re staying on-site, you can also enjoy one of the many pools at the hotels.

  1. Cool off for a bit in the A/C

If you really need a break from the outdoors, you can always spend some time solving a large scale puzzle at Mission Liberté, make your own t-shirt at Atelier Mont-T’s or make a custom souvenir at the Studio Créatif or Univers Toutou workshop.

In Tremblant without children? Head to the Versant Soleil with the Panoramic gondola and visit the Mont-Tremblant Casino. There are also 30 more shops and restaurants that will be happy to welcome you in from the heat!
