For the 19th year, readers of SKI Magazine have voted Tremblant to the forefront of skiing villages in eastern North America, in addition to raising it to the top 10 in many categories. Here are 8 reasons that will make you appreciate all aspects of our #1 resort.

1. A Good Night Sleep

In Tremblant, there are nearly 2,000 lodging units on the mountainside and in the heart of the pedestrian village. Under the colorful roofs are condos, rooms and studios, all spread throughout 13 hotels, including the renowned Westin Resort & Spa, Marriott Residence Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Fairmont. If you want to experience a newly refurbished hotel, stay at the Mountain Lodge, Tour des Voyageurs or the Marriott. Don’t forget that your children (17 and under) stay for free when sharing the room with you!

2. Happy Taste Buds

From breakfast to late night cravings, there is something to please all palates. Savoyard, French, Italian, American, Asian, Californian, Mediterranean, Breton or typically Québécois specialties, the thirty cafes, lunch counters and restaurants present in our pedestrian village offer a true world tour in flavors.

3. Top Après-ski Choices

Who doesn’t like to enjoy Tremblant’s famous après-ski? It can be difficult to make a choice between Microbrasserie la Diable, Shack, Forge, Fat Mardis or Nansen Lounge, to name a few. For a memorable evening, several places will charm you like the Q.G., the Café de l’Époque and the legendary P’tit Caribou. The latter has recently been refurbished and added a Wine & Whiskey VIP Lounge to its offer, in addition to being named the best après-ski bar in eastern North America for a tenth consecutive year by Ski Canada and ranked fourth in the world by the prestigious Forbes magazine.

4. A Charming Airport

Built to resemble the classic little log cabin, the Mont-Tremblant International airport boasts a magnificent central fireplace and is your first stop towards a successful stay. You will be welcomed by a dedicated staff that will answer your questions and guide you to your final destination. Tremblant is now accessible from anywhere in the world, notably thanks to Porter Airlines and Air Canada, which offer free flights to kids aged 2 to 12 from Toronto.

5. Plenty of events

Tremblant is a community that is synced to the rhythm of the mountain, its people and its events. The most important event being the 24h of skiing, walking and running, the industry’s largest fundraiser for children. Not to miss this season: The Festival Rando Alpine, the Legends Classic and the legendary Caribou Cup. This year, Tremblant will host the Canadian Alpine Ski Championships from March 24 to 28.

6. Fabulous Snow Conditions

Thanks to the combined action of Mother Nature and Avalanche, one of the most powerful snowmaking systems in North America, Tremblant unrolls the white carpet from the beginning to the very end of the season. With more than a thousand snow guns at our disposal, our mountain operations team works day and night to perfect the ski area to its full potential. The groomers spend an average of 650 hours per season optimizing the surfaces according to temperatures and precipitation.

7. Many Lifts and Snow Parks

With 2 gondolas, 6 quadruple chairs, 2 triples, 3 magic carpets and 1 telebenne that carry a total of 27,230 skiers per hour, you will be pleased to discover the 96 trails that stretch over 662 ski acres across the 4 slopes of the mountain. In addition to the Riglet Park by Burton, designed specifically for your 3-6 year old riders, three snow parks allow beginners, intermediates and experts to enjoy freestyle or develop new skills in a fun, friendly and safe environment.

8. So Many Off-mountain Winter Activities

Because winter gives way to temperatures as varied as can be, Tremblant offers a wide range of activities to make the most of it. In addition to the horse sleigh and the dog sled, you might discover something new this winter: skating, snowshoeing, snow biking (fat biking), ice fishing, sliding… Not to mention indoor activities such as wellness centers, gym, swimming pools, spas, toy making, ceramics or t-shirts painting, escape games and more. To end your evening, climb aboard the gondola or shuttle for a visit to our charming country Casino.

Special thanks to SKI Magazine and to all those who voted to make Tremblant #1 for the 19th season.
