To improve regional infrastructure and ensure the long-term sustainability of the road network, culvert replacement work will take place on Duplessis Road from August 3 to September 18, 2026. During this period, Duplessis Road will be completely closed to traffic to allow the work to be carried out safely and efficiently. This article will be updated as needed based on the progress of the project.

Why is This Work Being Carried Out Now?

The purpose of this project is to increase the hydraulic capacity of the infrastructure during periods of heavy rainfall, helping to better protect the road from potential weather-related damage. The work is scheduled during this timeframe to comply with current environmental regulations, particularly those related to the protection of wildlife and natural habitats.

Access and Traffic

Although the road will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project, local access will be maintained to allow residents to reach their properties.

Visitors, employees, and anyone who would normally use Duplessis Road will need to follow a designated detour route. Appropriate signage will be installed to facilitate travel and guide motorists to alternative roads.

Thank You for Your Cooperation

We understand that this work may cause some inconvenience and would like to thank all residents, visitors, and employees for their understanding and cooperation.

This project is being carried out in collaboration with the Ville of Mont-Tremblant and the Municipality of Lac-Supérieur.
