Tremblant is a perfect playground for sports enthusiasts. The mountain has hiking and trail running trails for all skill levels and the multipurpose trail starting from the pedestrian village is perfect for road running or just taking a nature walk. These sports all resemble each other in terms of clothing, but there are a few differences. Here are some tips to consider when shopping your next sports clothing.

The Sport

First, of course, you must get clothes that are suitable for the sport you do. You won’t buy the same shorts if you’re running or biking. Already there, your search narrows. Several brands have collections or categories of clothing specific to certain sports to help buyers better guide their decision.

You also need to consider the level of intensity when doing the sport. Lighter, breathable garments are ideal for high-intensity sports like running. On the order hand, more technical clothes that will keep you warm and comfortable during a longer activity, such as hiking, will become your best friends.

The Weather

As we have seen in recent years, Mother Nature can sometimes be capricious. It is therefore possible that in the middle of the summer season, it will no be as hot as we would think, or even that the weather may change during the day and that as rain cloud takes hold of the sky. Having a few basic pieces, like a windbreaker, a raincoat or a base layer can definitely come in handy any time of the year.

The Material

Most sportswear is made from more technical materials, such as merino wool, FlashDry or DryVent. Garments that breathe, dry quickly, and keep you warm are also beneficial when doing sports.

Sun Protection

Regardless of the season, it is important to protect yourself from the sun when practicing a sport to avoid several problems, such as sunstrokes for example. Wearing a hat or a sports cap is therefore essential. Also opt for breathable and antiperspirant hats and caps for better comfort during the activity.
