The holiday season continues in Tremblant with festivities in the pedestrian village and plenty of fun on the slopes. Our teams are hard at work every day to offer you the best skiing conditions across the mountain, despite Mother Nature’s mood swings. Nearly all of our skiable terrain is open across all four sides of the mountain, and we’re continuing our efforts to open new runs as soon as possible. The cold is back this week, so dress warm and come celebrate the end of the year with us in Tremblant!

Thanks to the cold temperatures throughout December and the sustained efforts of our operations teams, we were able to meet our snowmaking goals last week, just in time for the start of the holiday period. We are therefore confident that we have enough snow to offer great, high‑quality skiing right through the spring. We’re now in the final preparations on a few remaining trails, including the Expo sector, which is expected to open for the weekend. Plus, last weekend, our teams were able to deliver major trails such as McCulloch, Kandahar, and Erik Guay.

Monday’s freezing rain episode turned out to be less severe than expected, much to our relief. We still had to close our glades as a preventive measure to preserve the snow and maintain good conditions. They will gradually reopen over the next few days as conditions allow, and our on‑mountain teams are working hard to maintain optimal skiing across the mountain. As of today, we have 64 trails open across our 4 sides, representing 70% of our skiable terrain. We expect to have 80% of our trails open by the end of the week, with possibly a few surprises as well if Mother Nature permits it. We also received 10 centimeters (4 inches) of snow Monday afternoon and evening following the freezing rain.

Planned Trail Opening Schedule for the Weekend

  • Upper Expo
  • Lower Expo
  • Laurentienne
  • Lower Curé-Deslauriers
  • Dunzee
  • Les Rapides
  • Cossak

You can check real-time conditions and trail and lift openings at any time on our website or on the new Ikon Pass mobile app.

Good news for terrain park enthusiasts: the Adrenaline Park is now open! Last Sunday, we opened the upper section on the Curé‑Deslauriers trail with six varied rails. Our park rangers worked hard to get this section ready for the Holidays and are now focusing on the lower section. The lower Curé‑Deslauriers section is expected to open toward the end of the week with shaped grooming, and Promenade is currently under construction for an opening very soon. Stay tuned for updates on the terrain parks’ Instagram page.

This Sunday, January 4, it’s the Ikon Pass First Tracks! All Ikon Pass holders can access our first tracks starting at 7:30 AM, which is 15 minutes before regular first tracks hours, to enjoy our freshly groomed runs on the North Side. No ticket is required—simply show up with your Ikon Pass at the gondola or the Duncan Express lift to take advantage of your perk.

Safety Tip of the Week

Respect people’s space around you, especially furing busier periods. On the slopes, leave enough space between you and others to avoid collisions. Control your speed and direction to maintain a safe distance from other skiers and snowboarders, in case they suddenly change direction. And a reminder to keep on respecting all on-mountain signage for your safety and teh safety of our teams. Learn more about the skier’s code of conduct and safety on the mountain.
