La Classique Tremblant is much more than a race, it’s an autumn gathering where outdoor enthusiasts come together, from mountain employees to local sports clubs, including ski, athletics, and trail running teams. Designed for all ages and abilities, the event offers a family-friendly experience with 1 km and 3 km courses for young participants, while the 5 km and 10 km routes challenge runners with steep climbs. The 20 km and 30 km races rank among Québec’s most demanding, featuring remote mountain trails and technical sections that test strength and endurance.
A Story of Local Passion
For Race Director Patrick Lussier, La Classique Tremblant goes far beyond a sporting event, it’s a local tradition that’s been bringing people together since 1997, marking the end of the running season or the start of ski and snowboard leg training.
Inspired by the Merrell Grand Prix and the Grand Prix des Couleurs, two Tremblant events that helped shape the heritage of trail running in Québec, La Classique Tremblant was born from a desire to rekindle that community spirit around the local trail running club.
Patrick speaks about the race with pride:
“It’s truly a feeling of accomplishment when I see all those people take off from the starting line.”
Every year brings unforgettable moments. His personal ritual? Running alongside the final 30 km participant for the last 12 kilometers to make sure they cross the finish line. This year, he shared a special moment with Issam, determined to complete his 30 km after falling short at the QMT.
“Encouragements, advice, a Coca-Cola break, water, and a few treats from the last aid station… he had no choice but to make it. When we reached the finish line, he told me he never would’ve done it without me. It’s moments like that that keep me going.”

An Eco-Responsible Event
Did you know that La Classique Tremblant is a certified eco-responsible event?
In addition to applying our sustainable event guidelines across all aspects of the organization, every runner is required to bring a reusable cup for aid stations, a small action that adds up to a big impact in reducing our environmental footprint. This initiative is part of Tremblant’s broader commitment to sustainable development.

An Atmosphere That Brings People Together
On October 17, 2025, the mountain pulsed to the rhythm of every stride!
The 11th edition of La Classique Tremblant brought together trail running enthusiasts eager to test their limits on 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, and 30 km courses. A true favorite for the local running community, and for visitors who love taking on Tremblant’s trails dressed in their fall colors.
Under a typically mixed October sky, part sun, part wind, all adrenaline, runners hit the trails supported by teams of volunteers, patrollers, and organizers whose energy and enthusiasm made the day a success. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who contributed to this day of good spirits and camaraderie.
At the finish line, music and partner activations added to the festive vibe, giving everyone the thrill of crossing as a champion. A moment of pride, energy, and community spirit that perfectly captures the essence of La Classique Tremblant.
The Classique Experience
Among this year’s participants was our ambassador Jade Chrétien, national freeride ski athlete, back once again to soak in the colorful atmosphere. She summed up her 10K experience with enthusiasm:
“I’ve done La Classique Tremblant a few times now, and no matter the weather, it always brings its share of challenges! What I love most is seeing the community come together, whether to take part in the race or to cheer on friends and family.
My favorite moments? Definitely crossing the finish line with a big high-five to my sister, and that instant when you emerge from the woods to see the view. That’s when you realize just how far you’ve come!”
