Since its inception in 2001, what started as a local challenge has transformed into one of Canada’s most significant charitable events. For 24 consecutive hours, participants ski, run, or walk, but beyond the physical effort, the heart of the event lies in its mission: to raise funds to support children’s causes. This is done in partnership with key beneficiaries: Fondation Charles-Bruneau, CHEO Foundation, CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation, Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, and Fondation Tremblant.
25 years for the 24h Tremblant
For 25 years, the 24h Tremblant has continued to push boundaries. During its 25th edition, held from December 12 to 14, 2025, this collective momentum once again exceeded all expectations, raising an impressive $8,760,476. Driven by an extraordinary mobilization of participants, volunteers, partners, and donors, this achievement reflects the generosity and energy that have fueled the heart of the 24h Tremblant for a quarter of a century.
Twenty five years ago, reaching the one million dollar mark seemed like an almost unattainable summit. Today, surpassing the $8 million threshold speaks to how far this movement has come and to the strength of a deeply rooted collective commitment. This amount is more than a number. It opens the door to the next 25 years of hope, solidarity, and concrete action for children.
“Thank you to everyone who, for the past 25 years, has helped write this story. And thank you in advance to those who will continue to walk, ski, run, and give so that every child has the chance to smile, dream, and grow up healthy.”
Simon St-Arnaud, Executive Producer of the 24h Tremblant

2025 Recap and Highlights
The weekend began on Friday as the magic of the 24h slowly took hold among the children, many of whom put on skis for the very first time. Eyes lit up, hesitant steps became more confident, and the smiles on their faces said everything, marking the beginning of a passion for skiing for many.
Friday night, the Nuit Polaire Bière Boréale with CR34TE set the bar high. The energy on display showed just how excited everyone was for this 25th edition. Behind the fiery atmosphere were delarte, Qualité Motel, and The Jammin Kid, who brought the party to life.
On Saturday at 11 a.m, an hour earlier than usual, the 25h kicked off under perfect conditions, with smiles everywhere and palpable energy. The parade officially launched the challenge, bringing together the pillars of the 24h Tremblant’s history, the children, and the participants, who had started the challenge early for this anniversary edition. Skiers, runners, and walkers were fueled by the excitement of an extended challenge.
Highlights included Fouki singing with the children for the après-ski, while Marie-Mai and her guests delivered an unforgettable Grand Concert 24h. The stage also welcomed Sandy Duperval, Billie du Page, Jonas Tomalty, David Laflèche, Pascale Picard, and Yann Perreau. At midnight, Casino Mont-Tremblant marked the halfway point of the sporting challenge with a CR34TE laser show and the electrifying atmosphere created by DJ Montana and Sandy Duperval Perso, giving participants a burst of energy despite growing fatigue.

A Brief History of the 24h Tremblant
Inspired by the 24h of Villars in Switzerland, Jacques Villeneuve and Craig Pollock, with the help of Simon St-Arnaud, who has served as executive producer from the very beginning, came up with the idea of bringing this ski challenge to Mont Tremblant Resort to unite the community around a philanthropic cause. In 2001, 700 participants came together for the very first edition of the Tremblant 24h Grand Prix, raising an impressive $300,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Over the years, the 24h Tremblant has become one of the largest winter charity events in Canada. To date, nearly $63 million has been raised, funding critical pediatric healthcare and research initiatives. Here are some key milestones:
- 2001: First edition with 700 participants and $300,000 raised.
- 2003: Fondation Charles-Bruneau becomes a key beneficiary.
- 2007: For the first time, the 24h surpassed the $1 million mark in donations.
