Now that the mountain is covered in snow and that temperatures are dropping, it is time to welcome the winter season and its multiple outdoor activities. On the mountain, in the village or around the resort, Tremblant offers a big range of activities every winter for all ages and every taste. Here are the opening dates of each winter activity offered at the Resort.

Opening in November

  • Animation & Street Entertainers (November 5): Entertainment will be omnipresent this winter at the resort. Take a photo with Toufou or ask for a balloon sculpture to Marc-Ambulles.
  • Day with a Woodsman (November 16): An winter adventure with a guide filled with activities like snowshoeing, ice fishing, visit of a Quebec reserve, traditional meal, and much more.
  • Ski & Snowboard (November 24): Go down the slopes this winter on the highest mountain of the Laurentians. Our 102 trails and glades await you!
  • Panoramic Gondola (November 24): See the Laurentians and the mountain from our panoramic gondola while going up to the summit or coming down to the base of the mountain.
  • Snowshoeing Guided Tours (November 25): Choose between our 2 guided excursions to discover the mountain and the region’s trails this winter.

Opening in December

  • Mont Tremblant Guided Tour (December 3): Learn Tremblant’s the history and secrets while discovering a ton of practical information with a guide. Take advantage of it, it’s free!
  • Alpine Touring (December 13): Want a challenge for your next visit? Go up the mountain on your skis or snowboard (splitboard) with ascension skins on one of our marked trails or forest trails, then go down on one of our 102 ski slopes. Get your access before your visit.
  • Dune Buggy Tours (December 15): Have fun on winding mountain trails that run along the north side of the Mont-Tremblant national park aboard an all-terrain vehicle.
  • Sleigh Ride (December 16): A traditional family activity! Wander along winding trails through fields and forests for an afternoon or an evening.
  • Dogsledding (December 17): A unique experience for the entire family! Drive your own sled and dogs on trails in the forest, in the mountain or in the valley.
  • Snowmobiling (December 17): Trave along the snowy trails of the Haute Laurentides aboard a snowmobile for a guided tour. 2 experiences are offered, which one will you choose?
  • Ice Climbing (December 21): Get initiated to ice climbing directly on the mountain with our certified guides. Challenge yourself and climb all the way to the top of the ice wall!
  • Tubing (December 21): The perfect family activity! Go down one of the 8 slopes from beginner to expert level on an inflatable tube.
  • Snowshoeing & Fondue Tour (December 22): Put your snowshoes on and go on an adventure to the Refuge du Trappeur on versant Soleil for a fondue dinner with your friends or family. Go back down the mountain with your headlamp to end the night.
  • Ice Fishing & Sled Dog Visit (December 23): Get a chance to catch a speckled or rainbow trout with the help of a guide and take it home with you. End the day with a kennel visit where you’ll be able to play with sled dogs.
  • Cross-Country Skiing (December 31): Whether you are a beginner at cross-coutry skiing or more experienced, discover the nature at your own pace on a trail network of almost 120 km around Tremblant!

Opening in January

  • Fatbiking (January 10): This winter, live a varied experience and for all levels on almost 60 km of groomed trails on a fatbike. Rent your bike at our rental centre at the Chalet des Voyageurs.
  • Snowshoeing (January 10): Go up the mountain on one of our 7 hiking trails from 1 to 5 km. Go down by foot or with the panoramic gondola to admire the view. Get your access ticket before starting your hike.
  • Ice Skating (January 19): Located on the St-Bernard chapel’s lot, our outdoor illuminated ice rink welcomed you this winter for an unforgettable family outing. Ice skates rental is free with your lodging.

Open Year-Round

Tremblant offers activities year-round, indoor and outdoor, on the resort and in the region. Here is what you can do all year long:

  • Paintball: Accompanied by our animators, you’ll be guided through extraordinary outdoor courses. The paintball centre offers games adapted to all levels, on 12 varied terrains (4 illuminated) and with 15 different scenarios.

  • Plush Factory: Create an adorable plush companion and live a magical experience! With over 40 stuffed toys and 100 accessories to choose from, your children will come out happy with his new friend.
  • Studio Créatif: Awaken the artist in you by painting a ceramic piece of your choice and take your creation home with you. You can also take the activity to your hotel room or condo by borrowing a paint set from the studio.
