Holiday season is at our doorstep and our teams are hard at work to deliver as much skiable terrain as possible to skiers and snowboarders for the weekend!

Last weekend was wonderful with springlike snow conditions. We were able to deliver over 40 trails during the weekend including some in natural snow. But Mother Nature had other plans for us. The rain in fact ruined the party causing the opening of most of our natural snow trails during the night of Sunday to Monday and on Monday during the day. But with the return of below zero temperatures in the following days, our snow grooming team did an exceptional job to bring trails back to a great snow conditions.

Monday night, snow production resumed to complete some trails in which snow making had begun, as well as to prepare the opening of new trails. Our priority is therefore to deliver all the ski lifts and a maximum of “big” trails for the Holiday season to offer the biggest possible skiable terrain to our guests. Among these, we plan on opening the Erik Guay, Devil’s River, Franc Sud, Algonquin, Acton, Flying Mile and many other trails to only name a few. So you’ll understand that the Soleil and Edge sides will open for the weekend. The Porte du Soleil lift will also open on Sunday to serve the P2 parking, as well as the Upper Équilibre carpet that will open on Thursday for beginner skiers and snowboarders. So our teams are at work and motivated to deliver as much terrain as possible as quick as possible by taking advantage of every opportunity for snow making.

As for snowparks, we still have the Progression terrain park open in the Lower Alpine trail. We will also have part of the Mitik snowpark in the Sissy Schuss trail that will open to the public by Friday at the latest. We invite you to follow the Parcs Tremblant Instagram page for the last updates and videos in our different snowparks this season.

Events of the Weekend

Holiday Atmosphere

From December 23 to January 7, the pedestrian village transforms into a real Christmas village with daily entertainment and activities for the entire family. And do not miss Santa Claus’s parade on December 25, and, of course, our beloved mascot Toufou and our favourite balloon sculptor Marc-Ambulles will be there throughout this period. On the schedule are hockey and ice sculpting, various workshops, Christmas movie showings, and much more. See the full schedule on our website.

Holiday Movie Nights, presented by Coca-Cola

As part of the Holiday Festivities, Tremblant invites you to the Holiday Movie Nights, presented by Coca-Cola, from December 26 to 29. After a day of fun in the snow, indulge in a healthy dose of holiday spirit with a family-friendly movie presented every evening at the Camp de Base Tremblant in the pedestrian village. Every evening, a film will be presented with a showing in French and another in English. Snacks and drinks will be served to spice up your evening. Entry is free and spots are limited, so it’s first come first seated. See the movie list as well as the schedule online.
