With the more normal temperatures and the cold nights of the last few days, snow making has been able to progress well on the mountain.

We have to this day 36 trails and 269 acres of skiable terrain open, and our operations expect to reach the threshold of 40 trails open for the beginning of the weekend. In the event that significant snowfall materializes, several natural snow trails could be added to this count. See our mountain report for more details.

The snowmaking system has therefore been operating for a few days in different trails to open more and more terrain to the general public. However, we will be closing it early Thursday morning with the arrival of milder temperatures. This will allow us, among other things, to do a good cleaning of the mountain and to set up the system for the next start-up which could take place during the night of Sunday to Monday.

Good news for alpine touring enthusiasts! It is now allowed to climb the mountain on the North side via the Beauchemin trail. Don’t forget to get your access before starting your ascent.
