We would like to inform our guests of the situation affecting operations today on the North Side. The two lifts serving the base of the area, Duncan and Expo, had to be temporarily closed due to separate electrical issues.

The Duncan lift was impacted by an electrical issue requiring the intervention of external experts. The specialized Hydro-Québec team arrived on-site around 11:15 a.m. and has been working with our technicians since then to complete the diagnosis. While we wait for a full return to normal operations, the lift is currently operating on an alternative motor, and as a precautionary measure, its use is reduced by 50% of its capacity..

As for the Expo lift, it experienced an electrical problem: although the initial issue was resolved late yesterday, another component turned out to be defective, likely linked to the previous incident. Diagnostics were completed this morning, and Expo is now back in operation.

Please note that we are extending the operating hours of several lifts today.

Our teams are working diligently and with determination to restore regular access to the North Side as quickly as possible. We understand the inconvenience this situation may cause, and we sincerely thank you for your understanding.
