The mountain was blessed with a significant amount of snow in recent days. As the upper part of the mountain received snow, the freezing rain created a layer of ice in some trails down below. This layer prevented the rain that fell later on from entering deep in the snow.

Our snow maintenance team started working the slopes at 4 p.m. today. Their work will get easier as the weather gets colder gradually. In order to offer optimal conditions for the weekend, our teams will take turns grooming intensively non-stop until Saturday morning.

This weekend Tremblant is hosting the Makenzie Investments Freestyle FIS World Cup presented by Toyota. Saturday and Sunday, more than 100 athletes will be trying a shot at a mogul world cup title, including Olympic champion Mikaël Kingsbury. On Sunday, January 27, come meet the athletes and test your skills on the mogul run! More details on tremblant.ca.

As we wrote these lines, the weather forecast was predicting up to 30 cm of new snow in the upcoming 5 days!

Enjoy the slopes!
