Mother Nature came through last week and brought us over 85 cm of new snow in 7 days. All this natural snow largely helped our ski conditions and also allowed us to open a lot of new terrain, including our glades.

Our snow making system is now closed. Tonight will therefore be the last one this season in terms of our “regular” production. Our operations teams will still keep a pump on the North side to allow them to make one or two more snow productions in selected trails on the Soleil side. This production only requires water, so no compressor is needed. But they need temperatures of -18C or below to take this action.

As mentioned above, the snow from the last few days has been very good for our trails. We were also able to finally open the majority of our glades. But, conditions still remain marginal at certain spots, so we will need to wait for another snowfall to resolve this. The North side is indeed the place on the mountain where we received the most snow in the past days due to the direction of the winds. As for our trails, we currently have close to 75 trails open on our four sides with all of our ski lifts in operation. We are even aiming on having 90 trails open for the weekend. See our mountain report to know which trails are open in real time.

On the terrain park side, we have a great news: the Adrénaline park is open! Our team has installed six modules and rails on the upper part of the Curé-Deslauriers trail, and built rollers in the lower section of the trail. These two sections opened to the public on Wednesday. The Promenade section will open for the weekend with three jumps and a few rails. So we now have all of our snowparks open on the mountain!
