Mother Nature gave us spring conditions in the last week, but it did not stop our teams from working hard to open a maximum of skiing terrain to skiers and snowboarders!

The teams managed to deliver, for the Holidays, the majority of snow covered terrain. Considering the warmer temperatures from the last few days, we are in a very good position in terms of the number of hectares offered with all the ski lifts in operation. With that said, we are in first position among the North-Eastern ski resorts with the most skiable terrain as of today, with close to 50% of our trails that are open on 4 sides and all of our ski lifts as well. This is possible thanks to the great work from our snow grooming and operations teams since the beginning of the season, we would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank them!

We can find on the mountain great conditions with a softer snow resembling spring conditions. We are taking advantage of this milder weather to do a clean up and redeploy the snow making equipment for the next start. With the current forecasts, it could happen during the night of Saturday to Sunday. Good news, the Expo trail on the North side will be the next “big” trail to open because we already had a few days of snow making in it. What is left to do is to place the snow and groom it before opening it to skiers and snowboarders. It is also interesting to remind you that a significant number of natural snow trails and glades will be able to open as soon as nature sends us precipitations in the form of snow.

As for terrain parks, snow making continue in the lower Sissy Schuss trail to deliver the final section of the Mitik snowpark. The snow production will also continue in the Promenade trail so we can open the Adrénaline snowpark as soon as possible for more advanced park enthusiasts. We’d like to remind you to follow the snowpark updates on the Parcs Tremblant Instagram page.
