Snow production is in full swing this week and we took advantage of the steady -20 degrees Celsius temperatures to hit the snow cover on Versant Soleil. Note that some of the snow guns used on this side of the ski area operate with water only and therefore require cold temperatures to be turned on.  As for the Algonquin trail, thanks to the new artificial snow system installed this summer and this week’s snow falls, you will be able to ski or ride the majestic trail for the season as of this Friday!

A total of 65 trails will be offered on 4 sides of the mountain by the end of the weekend. In addition, the Portes du Soleil lift located in the P2 parking lot will be in daily operation from Saturday morning on. You will thus be able to use it to reach the south base via the Sentier des pruches. The Chalumeau trail leading you back to the P2 parking lot will only be open on Sunday meaning that until then, you will have to use the shuttle to get back to your car if you parked in P2.

The First Tracks will also be launched this Saturday at 7:45 a.m. If you don’t have your First Tracks pass, you can purchase the Tremblant Privilege Bundle and enjoy not only this special access, but other attractive offers for mountain enthusiasts.

To brighten up your weekend, stop by for a bite at the foot of the Lowell Thomas Express, where our new mobile canteen, Le Nomade, will welcome you.

Alpine touring adepts will also have access to 9 trails starting this weekend. (Keep track of openings by visiting tremblant.ca )

It is with great enthusiasm that we look forward to seeing you during this holiday season! Don’t miss Santa Claus’s arrival and the special holiday après-ski in the upcoming days…
