After a few hours on the road from Toronto, Hopscotch the Globe were finally back at Tremblant. This trip felt extra special to them, having come here for their babymoon. But this time, it was their daughter Kai’s first time discovering the mountain they had talked about for so long.
Day 1, Let the Vacation Begin
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was contagious. We visited Tremblant during the International Blues Festival, and the pedestrian village was buzzing with music. The streets were decorated, performances were happening throughout the village and rain or shine, people were dancing. It was impossible not to smile while watching visitors of all ages come together and enjoy the moment. Honestly, who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by these kinds of vibes?
After checking into our hotel, we left the car behind and headed out to explore the pedestrian village.
That’s what we love about Tremblant. Once you arrive, everything is within walking distance.
Within minutes, Kai had already spotted the colourful boutiques, street performers, fountains and, of course, Place Bonbon.
We quickly realized there was something happening everywhere. Between strolls through the village, we stopped to listen to a blues band, watch people dancing in the streets or simply take in the atmosphere.
In the evening, we chose a terrace for dinner before heading back out to enjoy more of the shows.
One thing stood out right away: everything we wanted to do was only a one-to-three-minute walk from our hotel. There is SO much to do in this village!
Day 2, A Day Filled with Must Do Experiences
If there’s one summer activity you need to try at Tremblant, it’s the Skyline Luge. After taking the chairlift up the mountain, it was time for the ride down. One run quickly turned into a second… then a third.
“It’s like racing Mario Kart on Mont Tremblant!”
We then made our way to Iris Galerie to create artwork using close-up photos of our eyes. The results were incredible. I couldn’t stop staring at the final piece. It was such a unique souvenir and something we’ll always remember from our trip.
After lunch, we headed to Mission Liberté for the Abracadabra challenge, a one-hour escape room mission. It was definitely not easy. We had to think, collaborate and sometimes start over, but we managed to complete the mission before time ran out.
One of the activities Kai was most excited about was Univers Toutou, which was at the very top of her list. Creating her own stuffed animal was such a fun experience. She got to choose the one she wanted, stuff it, add a wish heart and even pick out clothes for her new friend. She loved every step of the process, and her new companion joined us for the rest of the trip.
After dinner, we ended the day in the magical world of Tonga Lumina. Between the lights, music and illuminated forest, the experience was captivating for both kids and adults.
Day 3, Between Nature and Mountain Views
We started the day with a quick 10-minute drive to Domaine Saint Bernard. With a guide from D-tour Tremblant, we explored the forest trails, learned more about the nature around us and took time to feed the chickadees, a moment Kai won’t soon forget.
A little tip if you’re visiting in July: bring bug spray.
Back at Tremblant, we couldn’t leave without taking a ride on the panoramic gondola. At the summit, we watched the Birds of Prey show and Kai even got to participate in the demonstration. Her smile said it all.

And because no trip to Tremblant is complete without a sweet treat, we made a stop at Chocolato. As soon as we decided we were coming back to Tremblant, I already knew what I needed to order. And I can confirm that it’s still the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had.
Day 4, A Final Day Among the Treetops
Before heading back to Toronto, we added one last experience to our itinerary: Sentier des cimes Laurentides.
And honestly, you need to add this place to your list when visiting Tremblant.
Just a short drive from the resort, the experience takes you through the heart of the forest on a walkway that blends into the treetops. Along the way, we discovered interactive activities for kids, watched a circus performance 20 meters above ground and climbed to the 40-meter tower for breathtaking 360-degree views of the Laurentians.
This is the kind of place where you could easily spend several hours. Kids can explore, parents can slow down and take in the scenery, and everyone leaves with incredible memories.
A Trip We Won’t Soon Forget
Four days were enough to remind us why we love coming back to Tremblant.
Because here, you can go from racing down a mountain on a luge to exploring a forest trail, from a lively festival to an evening under the stars, without ever feeling rushed.
Most importantly, this time we got to experience Tremblant through Kai’s eyes.
As soon as we got back in the car to begin our drive home to Toronto, a question came from the back seat
“Can we come back again?”
We all smiled.
The answer was already yes.
