This summer, for the third year, Latin rhythms are making their way to Tremblant. From August 21 to 23, 2026, Salsa Tremblant transforms the pedestrian village into a lively street festival where music, dance and Latin culture take centre stage. Live performances, dance classes, activities and festive evenings unfold over three days, creating an experience to enjoy with family, friends or as a couple.
Music, Dance… and So Much More
Salsa, bachata, merengue and Latin music set the tone for this festive weekend at Tremblant. Behind Salsa Tremblant is the Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, a federally incorporated not for profit organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting Latino culture in Canada through music, dance, art and other cultural experiences. The organization was established in 2015, building on the success of the Salsa on St. Clair Festival in Toronto, which first launched in 2005.
The Tremblant edition launched in 2024, offering a new opportunity to celebrate Latin music and dance in Québec.
Salsa Tremblant: A Salsa Festival in the Laurentians
Throughout the end of August weekend, music takes over different stages in the pedestrian village, with live performances, DJs and dance showcases. Outdoor salsa and bachata classes also invite everyone to join in, even with no previous experience.
The 2026 lineup includes artists and groups such as La Tribu Salsa Band, Sabor 19, Tipica Bachata and several dance schools.
And because the festival goes well beyond a single stage, the energy continues throughout the pedestrian village, including the Vieux-Tremblant area, as well as at select bars and the Casino de Mont-Tremblant.
A Community Coming Together Through Music
Latin dance has a special way of bringing people together. The community is close-knit, travelling from one event to another to dance, reconnect and share their passion. The Salsa Tremblant festival becomes a gathering place for dancers of all levels, as well as anyone looking to discover this vibrant world.
Latin rhythms make you want to move, sway to the music and simply let yourself be carried by the beat. Come to:
- Discover salsa, bachata and other Latin rhythms in a relaxed atmosphere.
- Learn a few steps during an outdoor dance class and put them into practice just minutes later.
- Enjoy live performances and the energy of dancers throughout the pedestrian village.
- Reconnect with the dance community or make new connections.
- Share a festive weekend with family, friends or as a couple.
Between performances, there is plenty more to enjoy at Tremblant: hiking, biking, swimming in the lake, shopping or relaxing on a terrace. In the pedestrian village, everything is within walking distance, from one stage to the next, with the music and festive atmosphere setting the pace.

Salsa in Québec: A Vibrant Culture
Salsa and Latin dance have an important place in Québec’s cultural scene. In Montréal and throughout the province, classes, dance nights and festivals give passionate dancers opportunities to come together and newcomers a chance to discover these musical traditions. Salsa Tremblant is part of this community, offering a unique experience where Latin music and dance meet the outdoors and the atmosphere of a mountain destination.
What makes Salsa Tremblant stand out? The setting. For three days, Latin rhythms come to life in the heart of the pedestrian village, with the mountain as a backdrop. Go from a bachata class to a live performance, then take time to enjoy a meal on a terrace or try an activity before returning to the music in the evening.
