With ideal temperatures for snow production for the month of November and after 10 days of intensive snow making, the mountain team is ready to launch the season tomorrow, November 22nd, as planned.
While milder temperatures during the last few days forced us to slow down our production rate, the snow production team still managed to accumulate 240 hours of production! We have put 30 new state-of-the-art portable snow guns to work in the most critical areas. The snow groomers have been spreading all this beautiful snow on the slopes for several days.
As you can imagine, the opening is in a few hours and the teams on the mountain are in blitz mode. For the long-awaited season launch, we will be able to open 16 trails making for 3 runs from the summit to the base of the North and South sides. The Progression Park will also be opening tomorrow!
We are looking forward to seeing you on the red carpet as of 8 a.m. on November 22nd!
