It’s officially Spring!

With the arrival of spring at the beginning of the week, we are getting more and more excited for spring skiing that already started. This also means that days are getting longer, as well as our operation hours. The mountain now closes at 4:30 PM on weekends with the gondola and Duncan lift, then at 4 PM during the week with these same lifts. This schedule will be extended by the end of the season, you can find the opening hours of the mountain at all times on our website.

The sun and milder temperatures are here. But mornings are still cold with the nights that are often around the congelation point. Our operation teams therefore have to adapt their work with the weather and are now in a transition period. This means that the snow grooming team change their grooming plan to first groom the beginner trails to open them first and allow the most people to ski, then groom the other trails. This is why we often have closed trails in the morning that open progressively as the day goes. See our mountain report to know the opening status of our trails and lifts.

And with these weather changes during the day, snow conditions also change. From groomed and hard at the beginning of the day, to grainy and smooth in the afternoon, you therefore have to also adapt your ski as well as your outfit.  You can read our blog post about this for your next ski session.
