Lydiane Autour du Monde in Tremblant for the Gran Fondo

Adventurer, world traveller and writer Lydiane, from the blog lydianeautourdumonde.com, was in Tremblant this past weekend to participate in the annual Gran Fondo Mont-Tremblant. Other than the large-scale cycling event, she also enjoyed some relaxing spa time at the Spa Scandinave, a high-flying zip above the Laurentians with Ziptrek Ecotours and a fun paddle session on Lake Tremblant. Here’s her photo recap:

Head in the clouds… or rather feet in the clouds!!!

The terrace of the Coco Pazzo restaurant… We ate like royalty!! Miam! And they even have a gluten free menu… I love it!

Top 10 things to do in Tremblant, by Travelista Teri

Travel Expert Teri Johnson, aka Travelista Teri, visited Mont Tremblant last winter and came up with her list of top 10 things to do. Discover Tremblant through her eyes as she does everything from dogsledding to flying above the Laurentians in a helicopter, including skiing of course!

1- Experience dog sledding

At Expedition Wolf, ride through the snowy hills and meet the sled dogs!

2- Go skiing or snowboarding

First, take a lesson (if you’re a beginner like me!). Then go out there and enjoy the ride!

3- Enjoy the après-ski

After being outside all day, wind down at the microbrasserie La Diable.

4- Try fat-biking

With tons of trails around Mont Tremblant, it’s a fun new winter sport to try out.

5- Relax at the spa

From hot tubs to cold river water, relaxing at the spa is a must.

6- Take a gondola ride to the summit

Even if you don’t ski, enjoy panoramic views of the mountain the whole way up.

7- Experience a helicopter ride

For insane views of the Laurentian Mountains, go high!

8- Stay at the Fairmont hotel

A true ski in ski out experience anyone would fall in love with.

9- Take a stroll in the village

Walk around the European inspired pedestrian village, full of color and French Canadian joie-de-vivre.

10- Go sliding

Enjoy your evening with an activity that’s thrilling to do over and over again.
