Dear guests, Although it may be tempting to come and enjoy the mountain to slide, practice alpine touring, snowshoeing or any other activities, we remind you that the mountain is officially closed for the season. There are no ski patrol on mountain, motorized vehicles are circulating (groomers, snowmobiles) and the trails are not groomed therefore increasing the risks of falls and injuries. You may be putting your safety at risk and would have to call 911 if an accident happens, the response time would be unpredictable and out of our control. In addition, any evacuation of the mountain would be at your expense. The clinic being closed you would have to go to a hospital in the area that would not necessarily be in a position to receive you considering the situation with the COVID19. We sincerely apologize for the unprecedented situation and thank you for your understanding.

Tremblant remains on pause
Premier François Legault announced this week the first set of deconfinement measures, including lifting travel restrictions in the RCM [MRC] des Laurentides. No announcement was made however about when activities might resume in the tourism industry. Given our Resort’s vocation in tourism, we owe it to ourselves to follow government guidelines and therefore remain on pause, like the entire tourism industry at large. Therefore, the parking areas will remain closed.
Rest assured we are confident in our ability to rethink our Resort’s visitor experience as we adopt exemplary public health measures.

New Adventure Assurance Policy
To provide some value back to skiers and riders for the shortened 19/20 winter season, Ikon Pass recently announced double renewal discounts and extended deadlines for winter 20/21. Today, Ikon Pass introduces Adventure Assurance, offering 20/21 Ikon Pass and Tonik pass holders the option to defer their adventure to winter 21/22.
Adventure Assurance was designed to alleviate uncertainty and provide flexibility to 20/21 Ikon Pass and Tonik Pass holders by offering the choice to defer adventure to the following season for any reason with no fee. Regardless of pass purchase date, between September 10 and December 10, 2020, pass holders can choose to defer the value of their 20/21 Ikon Pass or Tonik Pass toward any single product available for the 21/22 winter season. The evolving nature of this event requires us to be flexible in how we respond and provide service to our guests. We are implementing appropriate precautions recommended by local health agencies and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Preventive measures for open services:
Increased frequency of disinfection and cleaning of public restrooms and indoor areas;
Addition hand sanitizing stations in the most busy place;
Addition of communications and signs for hand washing and distancing;
Employee with Covid-19 symptoms are asked to stay at home.
We also understand the difficulty around making trip decisions during these uncertain times and want you to feel confident in planning your trip to Tremblant. As such, some hotels on resort have modified their policies for stays booked between today and Sunday, May 10.
Following the government of Quebec’s request regarding the cancellation of cultural & sporting events planned in the province of Quebec, events organised by the Tremblant Resort Association to be held this summer in Tremblant have been canceled through August 31. (see list above)
Following the announcement by the Quebec Ski Area Association, Tremblant officially puts an end to the 2019-2020 ski season. The safety and health of our guests and employees in the face of the evolving COVID-19 situation is at the heart of this decision. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. After careful thought and deliberation of our duty in the face of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, and in what we believe is in the best interest of our guests, employees and local communities, Alterra Mountain Company will suspend operations at our 15 North American ski resorts, starting the morning of Sunday, March 15, until further notice. All lift operations, food and beverage, retail and rental services will be closed until further notice.
Alterra Mountain Company destinations are Steamboat and Winter Park in Colorado; Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain and Big Bear Mountain Resort in California; Stratton and Sugarbush Resort in Vermont; Snowshoe in West Virginia; Tremblant in Quebec, Blue Mountain in Ontario; Crystal Mountain in Washington; Deer Valley Resort and Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah; and CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures in British Columbia. (CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures will continue to operate through Tuesday, March 17.)
Each resort will work directly with guests in canceling their visit and will provide refunds to those who have Les Suites Tremblant bookings during this closure period. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to rapidly evolve, the health and well-being of our employees, guests, and communities continues to be our top priority. Here is an update on the preventative actions we are taking:
We are closely monitoring the statements and following the guidance and recommendations from local and federal health agencies on COVID-19
We will continue to follow the most updated guidance and precautions from health officials, with attention to the cleanliness of our facilities
We are in close and regular contact with local authorities, Alterra Mountain Company leadership, and numerous organizations as we continue to monitor the most recent developments
We have and will continue to adjust our operating procedures and guidelines as recommended practices emerge. Over this weekend will be implementing the following (see March 13th update below for full list):
Increased communication and signage around handwashing and social distancing;
Limiting ridership on our gondolato 50% capacity;
Limiting ridership on our shuttlesto 50% capacity;
Reducing the number of tables and chairs in our food and beverage outlets to encourage social distancing;
Implementing numerous changes to our food and beverage operations.
We have modified cancellation policies for our guests who are concerned about traveling.
We continue to ask our guests and employees to follow public health officials’ guidance of frequent handwashing and to stay home if they are feeling ill.
