It’s officially sweater and tuque-and-scarf weather. Several restaurants in the heart of the resort are proposing some of their most comforting dishes.

Lamb trio, boreal ravioli and sommelier recommendations at Choux Gras Brasserie Culinaire

At Fairmont Tremblant’s Choux Gras Brasserie Culinaire, the “to share” menu is unique. Made with the freshest local ingredients and inspired by the boreal forest, each dish promises incredible flavours. For the starter, try the boreal ravioli for an Asian take on local flavours. For the main, you can’t go wrong with the lamb trio (roasted rack of lamb, chimichurri grilled ribs and BBQ braised flank) served over a delicious ratatouille. Pair your meal with a bottle of private import wine for an evening of shared culinary emotions.

Lobster and chips, smoked duck tartine, crisp sweet & salty salad and festive cocktails at the Axe Lounge Bar

The Axe Lounge Bar offers comforting bistro fare and signature cocktails created by the establishment’s mixologists, without forgetting the wine list carefully curated by sommelier Étienne Lachaine. The delectable lobster and chips will warm you, especially paired with a locally made beer from Microbrasserie St-Arnould. Also, be sure to try the smoked duck tartine with Tomme de Grosse-Île cheese, asparagus, caramelized pecans and green pepper mayo. If you add an order of crisp sweet & salty salad, the tartine is perfect for sharing. After a day in the fresh mountain air, what could be better than sipping a cocktail or tucking into a great meal near the crackling fire in the bar’s central fireplace!

French onion soup and hot spinach and artichoke dip at Casey’s Resto-Bar

In addition to tasty ribs, steaks, fajitas, burgers and salads, Casey’s Resto-Bar makes a wonderful French onion soup topped with Swiss and Parmesan cheese browned in the oven.

French onion soup at the Pizzatéria

Why not accompany your pizza or calzone with French onion soup? Pizzatéria’s onion soup, with its perfectly browned cheese, is always a hit. A very comforting dish on chilly fall days.

Personalized mac & cheese at Maison de la crêpe

Duck poutine at La Forge Bistro-Bar & Grill

Poutine lovers will appreciate this take on the classic, made with duck confit caramelized in homemade barbecue sauce and topped with cheese curds and shallots.
