In our one on one with Ariane Lavigne, our Athlete Ambassador talks to us about her in life in Tremblant after her Olympic snowboarding career.

Video in French – English transcript below

“Today I’m heading to the mountain to join the Salomon trail running club. On my bike of course! We are very lucky in Tremblant to have great roads to ride on, either to go from point A to point B or for more serious training. I’ve been enjoying cycling much more in the past year than I have before.

Our region is even better than a gym, because no matter the weather, you can enjoy being outdoors and being active. Today in the trail running club my shoes might get a little muddier than usual, but it’s no big deal right?

Ever since I retired from snowboarding, I’ve been rediscovering Tremblant and all it has to offer. Road and cross-country biking, running and trail running, swimming, stand-up paddle board, yoga… There are so many activities to choose from.

As a nutritionist now, I’m happy to be home and enjoy our local markets and fresh produce. It’s also a chance to get to work with athletes and passionate locals who care about their nutrition.

Now, time for a yummy smoothie from Fluide!”
