Autumn is such a beautiful season, one that should really be enjoyed beyond knitting scarves and drinking pumpkin spice lattes. Here are our top ten must-try activities for taking full advantage of the colorful fall foliage and the serenity of the Laurentians.

1- Take it to the Top

You probably know that the summit of Mont Tremblant offers unique views across the Laurentians. Well in the fall, it can be even more spectacular! Choose from a number of hiking trails that wind their way up the mountain, or ride the panoramic gondola to the top. From there, possibilities are endless: explore the summit on foot, have a bite to eat at Le Grand Manitou, watch the Birds of Prey Show (until September 7), climb the observation tower or simply enjoy the scenery.

2- Admire the Fall Colours from a Unique Perspective

Looking for high flying adventure paired with breathtaking vistas? Ziptrek Ecotours’ five double ziplines soar over the treetops across nearly 4 km, so visitors can enjoy the landscape from a bird’s eye view. This time you’ll want to look down!

3- Tee Off amid a Palette of Colours

Tremblant’s two golf courses are as lovely as they are complementary. When the trees have donned their flamboyant fall colours, it’s the perfect time for golfers to play Le Diable or Le Géant, for as little as $169 for two rounds. Plus, kids accompanied by an adult play free after 4pm!

4- Notch Up Those Nautical Miles

Before summer starts tilting towards winter, there are countless warm days in between to be spent out on Lac Tremblant’s clear blue water ? and just as many activities. From paddleboarding to kayaking, Centre nautique Pierre Plouffe has every type of boat and water sport, including motor boats and for the more daring, introductory wakeboarding!

5- Discover State-of-the-Art Sports Facilities

Dedicated sports aficionados and high-caliber athletes can run or cycle together on Tremblant’s roadways and trails. And while the lake also welcomes its share of triathletes in training, the regional mountain bike network is another must. With great work being done on the trails this summer and a new partnership with MEC stores, Vélo Mon-Tremblant is on it’s way to making Tremblant an international cycling destination. More of a runner? For a great on-trail challenge check out the annual Classique Salomon race October 24 2015.

6- Fun Family Outings between Mountain & Lakeshore

Families are sure to appreciate the safety of a car-less village with free on-site entertainment, while bargain hunters can rustle up great savings during low-season sales. Luge rides, Eurobungy jumping, a climbing wall and the Akropark are part of a full lineup of pedestrian village options, while 3-, 5- or 10-Activity Cards by VISA keep it all affordable.

7- Attend Stellar Outdoor Shows

Treat your ears to great sounds at the Place St-Bernard’s Casino stage. The 3-day Musical Weekend puts the spotlight on Roch Voisine, Saturday August 29th at 8:30pm. Angèle Dubeau’s Fête de la musique returns September 4?7, with over 30 free outdoor shows that cover a medley of genres, from jazz and classical to world music. Headliners include Michel Rivard, Jorane, Oliver Jones and Les Violons du Roy.

8- Treat your inner foodie to a unique event

Along with the amazing variety of the village’s 30 restaurants, epicureans are sure to love Tremblant Gourmand, an event for active foodies that takes place September 12–20. Beyond a sports-filled programme, top chefs like Daniel Vézina, Jonathan Grenier, Blake Mackay, Félipé St-Laurent, Éric Gonzalez and several others are hosting gourmet workshops. And tasting Executive Chef Gonzales’ distinctive cuisine is possible at Casino de Mont-Tremblant’s reputed restaurant, l’Altitude. In fact, the gaming establishment is offering a full event programme this fall.

9- Find Inner Balance

Tremblant’s Amerispa Centres and Lolë Fitness Sessions are but a few ways to recapture that inner balance this fall. Choose from Amerispa’s extensive spa menu or try their Valmont signature treatment, 50-minute hot stone therapy or iced cider exfoliation. Do join the free Zumba or Pilates & Hatha Yoga Fusion sessions, and others too – choices do seem endless!
